Junior Cycling Team is taking shape

Sometimes that small disturbance you feel in the force is something good happening. Last week was one of those times…..One small important step was taken last week…….YES Bicycle Works had a good week.

Current Wish List

•Lightly used bikes (preferably Trek, Gary Fisher, Cannondale, Specialized)
•Bike mechanic tools and stands.
•Volunteers (Board members, skilled bike mechanics, adults to mentor youth, skilled copy writers, photographers, skilled at making YouTube type videos, Cabinetmaker)
•Bowling alley wood for workbenches
•10 to 14ft U-haul type truck
•15 passenger van
•Financial support
•Hearing from people who live in 53208 and 53210 who believe this is great idea for the community.
Donations

To donate slightly-used bikes.
Please feel free to drop off bikes at the Urban Ecology Center, Washington Park location, 1859 N. 40th St. (to enter by car use 40th Street) during their hours of operation: Tuesday-Friday 4p - 7p Saturday 9a-5p. Just like them know the bikes are for Keith's bike program or Bicycle Works.
