Milwaukee Bicycle Works is piloting “Women on Bikes”, Milwaukee Ladies Biking in Living Color

Women Focused Intro to Urban Bike Ride Series

Each Ride

  • Woman led at a leisure pace

  • Ride on as much flat terrain as possible

  • Lasts 45 minutes to 1 hour

  • Introduces women to urban bicycle riding

This pilot seeks….

to encourage “women on bikes” to meet and continue to be active

to learn this summer what works and what doesn’t in order to develop a full-blown initiative

to create a 2013 “Milwaukee Ladies Biking in Living Color”  YouTube Video

Rides Dates  all rides start at 10am

  • Saturday July 7th, Washington Park
  • Saturday July  21st,   Kosciuszko Park

  • Saturday July  28th,  Washington Park

  • Saturday Aug. 18th,  Kosciuszko Park  

  • Saturday Sept. 15th,  Where TBD

Open to all women yet making a special effort to reach “women of color”
